For the last thirty years Luker Bros. (Removals and Storage) Ltd have operated a guaranteed weekly service between the UK to Switzerland. This service is second to none and we average thirty consignments between the two countries each week.

Shipments in the UK for transporting to Switzerland are collected during one week in the UK between Monday and Thursday. On Friday our vehicles are loaded with goods in geographical delivery order for Switzerland other than the vehicles that have already been loaded with household removals/shipment at origin.

These vehicles leave the UK crossing The Channel over Sunday night docking in France on the Monday morning. During Monday they drive to Switzerland ready to clear customs when they open on the Tuesday morning.

Deliveries take place over the Tuesday and Wednesday and then reload in Switzerland consignments for the UK over the Wednesday and Thursday arriving back in the UK on Friday night/Saturday morning. All the effects that are loaded on the vehicles when they return are delivered during the forthcoming week.

Each consignment is priced individually. We can either arrange for an Estimator to visit your home to carryout a full removal survey or provide you with a Quotation if you can list the items to be moved. In some instances when it is not feasible to send an estimator to your home you can complete a House Contents Form and email this to us.

All the prices we give are for carrying out the transport from door to door. We do not collect/deliver into warehouses or terminals unless specifically requested. Our prices include all normal customs clearance charges but exclude any duties and taxes. Documentation has to be provided for presentation to customs with your goods for clearance prior to delivery. These requirements differ for individual circumstances and it is important that you discuss this in full with our staff in good time prior to your move enabling you to obtain the correct documents. Failure to do so can prove to be expensive.
